Holiday Inn Express & Suites Williams, an IHG Hotel

Update: I was contacted by the general manager who was able to work with me towards an agreement. I am pleased that she reached out and took her time to ensure my needs were being heard and met. I appreciate her time and support with coming with a solution. I accidently made a reservation at the wrong Holiday Inn Express. I was trying to book a room quickly because of the weather (snowing). I arrived at the wrong hotel and realized my mistake. They would not work with me in canceling because it was not within 24 hours despite making the booking approximately 30 minutes before. I had to book the room at the Holiday Inn that I arrived so have an extra room that is not being used. No compassion what so ever. Just take your money despite value of "True Hospitality".

Very Nice hotel, and I enjoyed my short overnight stay. The rooms are nice with a good modern touch as well as the lobby areas and spacious halls. The hotel was very clean throughout all areas I visited. Very friendly staff and good location for the hotel (yet my GPS was routing me up a few roads through the town area; there were holiday events happening which I believe the hotel rep said it was the Polar Express). I recommend it highly for there was no noise from other guests & no issues with my short stay.

My one-star rating is solely based on room and condition of hotel. I am an IHG Gold Rewards Member and this is one of the worst Holiday Inn Express Hotels I have ever stayed in. I'm not going to pin-point everything but the room felt like it was 20+ years old without ever being renovated. Rugs, flooring, chairs, furniture, bathroom all were needing replacement and cleaning! I am seriously considering becoming a member at another branded hotel chain. On a brighter note, front desk clerk was very nice and location in Williams, AZ was within walking distance to Main Street.

My family and I travel a moderate amount and always stay at holiday inns, this was by far the worst one. To start, I went to check in right around 3pm (check in time) and there was no one at the front. I had to wait awhile for anyone to even show. How weird to be short staffed at check in. Our room was lack luster, but some areas were disgusting. There were nasty brown drips on the toilet seat. The bathroom shower looked like pieces had been fixed, but then not repainted to look fixed. The bathroom lights made noises. The mini fridge made so much noise I had to unplug it. The beds were hard as rocks and I had to use 3 pillows to equal one regular pillow. The WORST part was the curtains. They were stained and brown all over, I will add a picture. They look like they had been laying in the gutter in the rain and picked up and put on our window. So gross!!!!! And it was the sheer layer and the other dark layer closest to window. Plus sides: no bed bugs. Lots of charging stations. Clean enough.
